KENNY GILL’S versatile guitar talent has graced the live performances and recording sessions of a virtual who’s who of notable greats from Al Hurst to Glen Campbell. The mellow tones of his guitar are always sweet whether he’s playing Country, Pop, Jazz, Big Band or Rhythm & Blues.

Kenny’s long and steller career began with a love of the guitar at age seven. At age 13, he was playing the guitar as a regular on local radio programs in his home of Bunkie, Louisiana.

A lengendary jazz guitarist, Kenny formed the Kenny Gill Quartet more than 25 years ago. His first album, “Guitar Moods of Kenny Gill” was recorded at the famous New Orleans recording studio, Cosimo Studios, in 1962. This album has recently been re-mastered and re-released and is titled “The Original Kenny Gill Trio.”

Quite a country picker as well, Kenny Gill had performed and toured with the late Governor Jimmie Davis, starting in 1972. Jimmie said: “His talents on guitar are very wide and varied, I highly recommend Kenny ablilities whether it be performing shows or recording sessions … he’s a top notch guitarist. Kenny can do it all.”
